At Choices we provide health and community services to Māori, Pasifika, and all other communities in Hawke’s Bay. We deliver these services with the support, and on behalf of, the following organisations:
Since 1995 we’ve been establishing ourselves in local communities through the midwives, nurses, kaimahi, community clinics, and other services that together make up Choices. Although most of the people we serve are Māori or Pasifika, everyone is welcome. We understand our communities because we live in them. Choices can be trusted when it comes to the health and well-being of all the whānau.
At Choices our vision is to provide health and community services to Ngā Tāngata Kātoa (all people) that is: Affordable, Appropriate, Accessible, Accountable and Non-judgemental.
Our mission is to empower ngā tāngata kātoa in order to improve the health of all whānau through the delivery of health and community services that acknowledge and guarantee the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, encompassing: Participation, Partnership and Protection.
